サンロレンツォは60年以上にわたり、一人ひとりのスタイルとニーズを尊重したオーダーメイドのモーターヨットを作ってきました。遠く離れていても、海の地平線上から私たちのヨットを簡単に見つかることができます。ヨットの形自体は時代を超越しながらユニークであり、多くの職人技やアイデアが詰まっています。一方でインテリアでは業界初、国際的有名な建築家やデザイナーであるピエロ・リッソーニ、アントニオ・チッテリオ、パトリシア・ウルキオラらを起用し、今までのヨット内インテリアに対する概念を打破しました。オーナーのためにラグジュアリーな居住環境を陸から海へと延長し、唯一無二のヨットを創り上げています。サンロレンツォはまた、アートの世界と深い関係を持っており、2017年にはヴェネチア“ビエンナーレ“、そして2018年にはスイスアートバーゼルとのパートナーシップを提携し、世界各地で”Design”と”Art”を発信しています。我々SANLORENZO JAPANはそのDNAと使命を引き継ぎ、ヨットショールームとはまた異なるプラットフォームとしてMA5 GALLERYを設立しました。
For over 60 years, Sanlorenzo has crafted tailor-made motor yachts respecting the style and needs of their owners. You could easily notice our yachts in the horizon even if you’re far away. The shape itself is timeless but unique, filled with many craftsmanship ideas. Inside the boats, depends each owner’s individual lifestyle, we work with leading international designers such as Piero Lissoni and Antonio Citterio, Patricia Urquiola who understand and create one and only for them. Sanlorenzo also has deep relationships with ART world, took the form of participation at the Venice “Biennela d’Arte” in 2017 and started a global partnership with Art Basel since 2018. SANLORENZO JAPAN would focus on the same vision, and MA5 GALLERY would be a platform for us to express.

MA5 GALLERYのネーミングは此処、建築事務所やインテリアショップ、アートギャラリーが多く集まる南青山５丁目の頭文字から取ったものです。我々SANLORENZO JAPANが日本でローンチをするにあたり、他のヨットブランドと最も異なる”Design”と”Art”の視線から展開を目指し、ヨットを魅せるショールームとしてではなく、あえて常に進化し続けるアート、デザイン、インテリアを発信するプラットホームとして設立に至りました。また同時に、可能性のある若き気鋭アーティストを発掘・サポートしながら、世界で活躍する存在へと後押しをするバックアップハブとなるよう目指しております。。
The name of MA5 GALLERY comes from the initials of Minami-Aoyama 5-chome, where the gallery itself is established. There are many Architecture firms, Interior shops, and Art galleries located. Regarding SANLORENZO JAPAN's launch in Japan, we decided not to start with a showroom but an art gallery to develop the perspective of "Design" and "Art", which is the DNA of SANLORENZO and also the most different point from other yacht brands. In the same time, MA5 GALLERY would discover and support up-and-coming young artists, and become a backup hub that pushes them to active on the world stage.
